Anantara Announces Expansion Plans

Anantara Resorts Says it will add at least six properties to its roster in the next two years. The company plans to add two properties in Thailand, one each in Khao Lak and Phuket, as well as new resorts in Bali, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Dubai. Anantara is looking to grow in areas that will provide synergy and cross-marketing with existing Anantara properties, says William Heinecke, chairman and chief executive of Minor International, Anantara's parent company.
