Anantara to Increase Portfolio to 50 Properties

Anantara is planning to generously increase its portfolio over the next five years as it increases its number of resorts from 12 to 50, with seven opening in 2011.

The group currently has seven resorts in Thailand, one in Bali and two in the Middle East. Over next year, the industry can look forward to new resorts in China, the Maldives, Bali, Oman and the UAE.

Those opening in 2011 include:
Anantara Kihavah Villas, Maldives
Anantara Sanya Resort & Spa, Xiaodonghai, China
Anantara Xishuangbanna Resort & Spa, China
Anantara Al Madina A'Zarqa Resort & Spa, Oman
Anantara Uluwatu Resort & Spa, Bali
Al Sahel by Anantara, Sir Bani Yas Island, Abu Dhabi
Al Yamm by Anantara, Sir Bani Yas Island, Abu Dhabi
