Aqua Gains Ninth Waikiki Hotel

Hawaii Polo Inn has become the ninth hotel in Waikiki to bear the Aqua Hotels & Resorts brand, and the fourth addition announced this year. The property is undergoing more than $2 million in renovations and upgrades; when work is complete it will be renamed the Hotel Equus and marketed as an Aqua Boutique hotel. Work at the 68-room hotel is slated for completion by mid-December.
