Reality TV Stars to Open New Bahamas Resort

Bryan and Sarah Baeumler, known for House of Bryan and Bryan Inc., an HGTV Canada series, have purchased a 10-acre site in the Bahamas and are now transforming it into Caerula Mar Club—an upcoming hotel slated to launch on the island of South Andros in November 2019.

Caerula Mar will be equipped with 18 oceanfront suites and six private villas. Accommodations will have an open-concept living and sleeping area that fuses traditional architecture with mid-century modern style. Soft Belgian linens, aged marble stone, and soft white oak floors adorn the spaces.

The property will also have three dining options including:

  • A café and smoothie bar
  • Driffs Bar & Lounge, serving comfort food like pizzas and fresh fish tacos.
  • Lusca, Caerula Mar’s fine dining restaurant, provides guests with sweeping ocean views and Caribbean-style dishes.

Meditation paths and swaying hammocks will pepper Caerula Mar’s grounds. These relaxation-dedicated areas will be complemented by a sea turtle-filled reflection pond and yoga-friendly spaces.

The upcoming property’s proximity to the third largest reef in the world makes diving, snorkeling, boating, and fishing possible. And not only is the property getting involved with the rainforest of the sea recreationally, but is also joining the Reef Rescue Network, operated by the Perry Institute for Marine Science, to create an underwater coral nursery to restore and rehabilitate coral reefs in the Bahamas.

Travelers can reach South Andros via a 20-minute flight from Nassau. From Fort Lauderdale’s Executive Airport, the trip is just over an hour long.
