In January, Carlson Hotels Worldwide added three new hotels in Europe to the Radisson brand including 149-room Radisson SAS EU Hotel in Brussels, the 78-room Radisson SAS Style Hotel Vienna in Austria and the 211-room Radisson SAS Hotel Birmingham in England. In the Middle East, the 251-room Radisson SAS Hotel opened in Dubai. A new Park Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre debuted outside Toronto, and a new Country Inn & Suites By Carlson opened in Grand Rapids, MI. The additions bring Carlson's global portfolio to 924 hotels in 69 countries.
