Carlson announced the expansion of its Park Inn brand to Harrisburg, Penn., with the new Park Inn Harrisburg West hotel. The brand has now grown to include more than 110 hotels across the globe with 50 more currently in development.
"The opening of the first Park Inn in Pennsylvania represents the continued momentum of our Ambition 2015 growth strategy and is aligned with plans to grow Park Inn as a winning midscale brand in North America," said Steve Mogck, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Park Inn's Americas division.
The 219-room hotel features an indoor and outdoor pool, a fitness center, a business center and free Wi-Fi access. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available in Legends Sports Bar and Grille, the hotel’s restaurant. The West Shore Hardware Bar and the Carlisle Pike Saloon are also located in the hotel and offer alternative dining options. The hotel can accommodate large events with 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting and banquet space.
The property is located off Interstate 81 about 15 miles from Harrisburg International Airport.
