Centara Hotels & Resorts has announced that it will open the Centara Beach Resort & Spa Phu Quo, Vietnam, and Centra Maris Resort Jomtien, Thailand, before the end of the year.

Currently scheduled to open in November 2015, Centara Beach Resort & Spa Phu Quoc is the latest property in Vietnam acquired by Centara Hotels & Resorts after a management contract was signed with the owners, Binh Le Xuan Ltd. Companies and Commercial Services. The resort is Centara’s second property on the Phu Quoc Island and third property in Vietnam.

Centara Beach Resort & Spa Phu Quoc is located on the main coast of Phu Quoc Island, in Vietnam’s Kien Giang Province, and is a ten minute drive from Phu Quoc International Airport.

The resort will have 141 rooms, and guests will have access to technology-serviced meeting facilities, an all-day restaurant, a pool with swim-up pool bar, a fitness center and full wireless connectivity throughout the property. The resort will also contain a Kid’s Club, and a new SPA Cenvaree.

Centra Maris Resort Jomtien is scheduled to open mid-December 2015.  Just outside of Bangkok, Jomtien Beach has a new perspective from that of its nearby neighbor, Pattaya, Centara said.

The new property has 282 rooms, suites and residences, all designed with a fresh modern style, incorporating clean lines, light wood furnishings and splashes of vivid colors. All offer free Wi-Fi and the option of garden or ocean views. Pool suites and family residences also have a private garden and plunge pool, while each residence can sleep up to three adults, or two adults and three children.

For travelers with children, the property will also have a Kids’ Club-- Camp Safari for the youngest ones and a teenage-friendly E-Zone. Additionally, guests can enjoy a lagoon-shaped swimming pool with Jacuzzis as well as a children’s water play area and water slide.

For adults, the Cense by SPA Cenvaree will offer  broad range of therapies, including massage, body treatment and facials that feature Thai herbs, floral extracts and aromatic oils. There will also be a fitness center.

Dining options include an all-day venue serving buffet-style breakfasts, and an international and Thai a la carte menu for lunch and dinner with indoor and outdoor dining options. The resort’s poolside restaurant will serve everything from fresh seafood and fish to chops and steaks, as well as burgers with modern twists. In-room dining is available throughout the day, and the swim-up pool bar is also available for adult guests.

The overall area of Jomtien is getting a face lift, making it much more attractive to tourists with new sidewalks, building sports, recreation and water facilities, adding greenery and playgrounds as well as a new police substation, Centara said.
