The Cool Pool of the Week: Miramonte Resort & Spa in California

Millennials looking for a cool pool to dip in during a California vacation can find three stylish options at the Miramonte Resort & Spa in Indian Wells.

The 11-acre Coachella Valley property, located among the San Andreas mountains, offers three sexy pools on-site.

Open from sunrise to 11 p.m., each pool offers food and beverage service and gives clients a chance to soak in the Palm Springs sun.

The Miramonte Pool, the hotel's main pool, is open to all guests and includes views of the mountains and five newly renovated cabanas available for daily rental. Here, Millennials can also indulge in a garden-inspired cocktail made with fresh citrus fruits and herbs grown on site.

A second level with a heated whirlpool can accommodate pool-goers on the cooler nights as well. The Piedmont Pool offers adult-only fun for those looking for a more serene aquatic experience and features heated whirlpools, sundecks and a chance to try the resort’s fish tacos made with local tortillas.

Tucked away in the private courtyard of The Well Spa is the intimate Aqua Well. The Aqua Well is available to guests indulging in spa treatments or who purchase a Spa Day Pass, which costs $30 a day. This hidden, salt water pool is kept at 82 degrees.

The River Bench, also within The Well Spa courtyard, is a more intimate heated salt water hot tub kept at 102 degrees. The hot tub has been built with private waterfalls and exclusive nooks for secluded tranquility.

After the sun goes down and you’ve fully submerged yourself in all Miramonte has to offer, head to town to explore local arts festivals or into Palm Springs for a night on the town.
