Dreams Resorts to Double in Size by 2010

Dreams Resorts & Spas, an upscale chain, plans to open a property in the Dominican Republic and another six properties in Mexico by fall 2009. The additions will double the brand's portfolio, with 1,900 new rooms and suites in just two years. "The expansion of the Dreams brand comes from guests' positive response to our existing properties," said Alex Zozaya, CEO and president of AMResorts, provider of sales, marketing and brand management services for Dreams and other resort groups. Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa will debut in December 2007, Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa in late 2008, Dreams Nuevo Vallarta Resort & Spa in mid 2008, Dreams Huatulco Resort & Spa in late 2008, Dreams Pearl Sands Riviera Cancun in early 2009, Dreams Punta de Mita Resort & Spa in late 2009, and Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort & Spa in early 2010.
