The Ensemble Hotel & Resort Collection program recently added 13 new properties to its portfolio, including Egerton House Hotel (London), Intercontinental Hotel Madrid, The Killarney Park Hotel (Ireland), Pinehurst (North Carolina), Sofitel Los Angeles and eight Rock Resorts including The Lodge at Vail and Rosario Resort & Spa (Washington state). To evaluate potential properties, Ensemble reviews not only the level of accommodation and amenity package, but also the specific destination of each property to avoid over-saturation in certain markets. Participating properties must also provide an "Ensemble Exclusive," such as free daily breakfasts, rounds of golf, and spa credits, in addition to standard amenities. Last month, Ensemble Travel Group announced that more than 300 hotels and resorts were participating in its 2006 collection.
