Fairmont Resort in Barbados to Reopen with New Room Category

The Fairmont Royal Pavilion in Barbados will reopen November 1 following a two-month renovation that includes the addition of a new room category.

The resort's new category will be 24,750-square-foot Beachfront Junior Suites with private terraces, perfect for moonlit dining “à deux” overlooking the ocean.

Serviced by experienced butlers dedicated to providing the ultimate in personalized care, these latest additions will join the existing inventory of 48 Oceanfront Deluxe guest rooms.

The architecture and interior design of these new suites reflect the rich heritage of the island, taking inspiration from a typical Barbadian plantation house, with soft serene hues complementing the rich walnut tones of the traditional furnishings.

Guests booking a junior suite will also benefit from an airport fast track service, being personally escorted through the diplomatic area in immigration and customs, personalized check in and check out, butler service, daily in-room amenities and complimentary evening canapés.

The public areas of the hotel have also been refreshed. At the heart of the new design, are the coral tones of the exterior, which have been influenced by the historical context of the property and the overall island experience.
