Hilton Worldwide has announced George Stanfield has been appointed general manager of the Caribbean-based Hilton Curaçao, following his position as resident manager at Hilton Cancun Golf & Spa Resort.
A graduate of Webber International University, with a Bachelor's degree in business administration, Stanfield began his 15 years at the company in 1995 as an intern at the Doubletree in Coconut Grove Miami. Since then, his experience includes director of housekeeping, meetings and conventions, and front office positions throughout the U.S., including Atlanta, Washington, D.C. and Orlando.
Located at the Piscadera Bay, 10 minutes from the Hato International Airport, the 196-room property is situated on 23 acres, has two white sand beaches and is within five minutes of Curaçao's capital, Willemstad.
