Grand Isle Resort Responds to Closure of Four Seasons at Emerald Bay

With the announcement that Four Seasons is suspending operations of their property at Emerald Bay on Great Exuma, the Bahamas, Grand Isle Resort & Spa, also located at Emerald Bay on Great Exuma, has communicated that they are indeed open, fully functional and, in fact, doing very nicely.

“Although the news of the Four Seasons closing is difficult, we are unaffected and dedicated more than ever to pursue our commitment of guest experience excellence,” said John Shkor, president of Grand Caribbean Resorts, the parent company of Grand isle Resort & Spa, in a written release.“Both The Four Seasons Emerald Bay and Grand Isle Resort & Spa  are properties located within the Emerald Bay Resort development. Unlike the Four Seasons, Grand Isle Resort & Spa is a privately funded and owned entity. The circumstances surrounding the closure of Four Seasons, although not ideal, do not affect Grand Isle Resort & Spa in any way and Grand Isle Resort & Spa is and will continue to  prosper by providing a stellar guest experience.”
