Grand Velas Los Cabos is launching a new astronomy experience, giving travelers the chance to stargaze in one of the top-20 locations to research the sky according to NASA. As part of the experience, guests will also enjoy a bonfire and signature cocktails by the Sea of Cortez.
Starting January 28, during a new moon, “Night Sky” gives guests the opportunity to discover the stars, planets, constellations, and potentially even meteor showers over the Los Cabos Baja Peninsula. Hosted by certified National Association for Interpretation (NAI) interpreters and experts in astronomy, the three-hour tour includes guided use of a 12-inch (in diameter) telescope, the biggest in Los Cabos. The experience allows guests to experience Los Cabos from a different perspective.
Rates at Grand Velas Los Cabos start at $750 per person per night in double occupancy. The all-inclusive rate includes luxury suite accommodations, a la carte gourmet meals at a variety of specialty restaurants, premium branded beverages, 24-hour in-suite service, fitness center, nightly entertainment, tax and service charge, and more.
