Hard Rock International, in collaboration with glh Hotels, has unveiled plans for the Hard Rock Hotel London. The new property will be a conversion of the Cumberland Hotel that frequently hosted Jimi Hendrix. The upcoming Hard Rock Hotel will be directly at Marble Arch on Hyde Park at the cross roads of Oxford Street and Park Lane. Guests of the 900-room hotel will be able to enjoy panoramic views over Hyde park. The hotel is set for completion in summer 2018.
The hotel plans on hosting live events, including both local and international talents. It will also house more than 80,000 historical pieces. Amenities will include a full-service Rock Spa, a signature restaurant and a speakeasy.
Hard Rock has announced over 10 projects in the past year, including Hard Rock Hotel New York, Rock Hotel Berlin Checkpoint Charlie and Hard Rock Hotel Atlanta.
