South Lake Tahoe's Heavenly Mountain Resort is officially open for the 2011 ski season. Visitors to the resort can stay at the Marriott Grand Residence Club, Lake Tahoe, which is offering three- and seven-night ski packages this season.
The Marriott Grand Residence Club, Lake Tahoe, is located near the base of Heavenly Mountain Resort and just a 12-minute gondola ride away from the slopes. The ski area itself includes panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains, along with retail shops and restaurants such as Wolfgang Puck Express.
The hotel features 199 rooms ranging from studios to penthouses, most coming with amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen and balcony. The property also has a health club with steam room and spa, a heated swimming pool and daily maid services.
Three-night packages start at $759, including a studio residence and two days of lift tickets for two adults. One-bedroom residences start at $839 and include the same ski package.
