Hilton Worldwide just announced that it has added Boulders Resort & Spa to its Curio – A Collection by Hilton portfolio, a global brand of upper upscale luxury properties.
Boulders Resort and Spa, located on 1,300 acres in the Sonoran Desert foothills near Scottsdale, Arizona, will soon undergo a significant remodel by the DiLEONARDO design firm.
Currently, the property offers two 18-hole golf courses, a terraced tennis garden, four swimming pools, six restaurants, and a spa and fitness center. Guestrooms include one-, two-, and three-bedroom villa and hacienda accommodations, as well as a five-bedroom, 5,000 square foot villa retreat.
Renovations to be completed this fall include upgraded casitas, rooms and bathrooms, and a remodeled lobby bar, front desk, and Palo Verde restaurant. There will also be 5,200 square feet of new meeting space added to the resort’s main lodge.
The property’s southwestern-style interior will be updated to include new designs with Spanish-influenced adobe style architecture, paired with patterns and colors inspired by Native American heritage.
