The Hoxton, Portland Is Ready to Book

Travelers can now book The Hoxton, Portland, with an early-bird deal offering rooms at $62/night, to celebrate the new location as the sixth Hoxton hotel. The property is scheduled to open towards the end of October.

Located in a building that dates back to the early 1900’s, the Hoxton, Portland, is situated in the city’s Old Town Chinatown. The hotel will include 119 rooms, an open lobby, three food and drink areas in collaboration with local restaurant organization, Submarine Hospitality. These include:

  • La Neta: an all-day restaurant.
  • Tope: a rooftop taqueria with views across the city
  • The Apartment: a meetings and events space with four rooms and a pantry kitchen.

The bedrooms have been designed by Ennismore Design Studio based on a North-West modernism movement style. The rooms are available in four sizes—Shoebox, Snug, Cosy and Roomy—and include timber paneling, pink marbles and brass feature lighting. They all have natural light, with several of them having floor-to-ceiling windows and city views.

The communal spaces have the building’s initial tinder columns, exposed brick walls, and reclaimed tinder floors. They also have custom-made geometric tiles, fluted leather benches and walls saturated with art. The lobby furniture has been sourced locally, and artwork has been curated by local contemporary art gallery, Upfor. The ninth-floor restaurant has natural lights and city views.
