Hyatt Resorts Unveils New Travel Agent Incentives

Hyatt Resorts held its third annual travel agent awards event November 3 and 4 at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa at which the company presented awards and announced new incentive programs. Travel agent Aggie Lewis of Gaffney Travel in Oak Lawn, IL received this year's Paradise for Life award—a lifetime timeshare at Hyatt's Coconut Plantation Vacation Club Resort in Naples, FL. New programs from Hyatt Resorts starting in 2007 include amendments to their Slice of Paradise program. Agents will now be rewarded with a free night stay when booking three nights at any continental U.S. property for their clients. Hyatt will also launch the Recommend Reward program, which will provide monthly recognition for two agents who recommend a Hyatt resort. A member of the Hyatt Resort's team will randomly call agents from around the country on a monthly basis; the first two agents suggesting a Hyatt Resort will receive a $500 cash reward.
