Ian Schrager Drops Hotel Chelsea Purchase Plan

Bloomberg News reported Tuesday that developer Ian Schrager took a pass on purchasing Hotel Chelsea after considering taking on the asset last month.

Schrager, who, according to Bloomberg, started the boutique hotel in the mid-1980s, opened hotels in New York, Miami and Hollywood in the past several decades.
