Iberostar Hotels & Resorts has announced it will extend its partnership with tennis coach Toni Nadal. As part of the brand’s plan to increase awareness among sporting platforms, since the agreement was first announced in 2009, the coach of Rafael Nadal will continue to wear the Iberostar cap during high profile tournaments worldwide through December 2014.
Borne out of common values and Toni Nadal's relationship to his native Mallorca, Spain, where the Spanish hospitality company is based, the agreement accompanies Iberostar's sponsorship at the RCD Mallorca soccer stadium since 2010, now known as Iberostar Estadio. The company also sponsors the lower categories of Tenerife Basketball Club and Iberostar Basket Mallorca in the Play Offs, and supports the IberostarSailboat, captained by Javier Banderas and Olympic medalist Luis Doreste.
