The InterContinental Tampa recently named James Horsman as its new managing director. In his new role, Horsman will oversee all aspects of the operations including room division, food and beverage and sales and marketing.
Previously Horsman has held the position of managing director of the Stowe Mountain Lodge in Stowe, Vermont. Prior to that he was the general manager of the Nine Zero hotel in Boston. His 28 years in the hospitality industry have also included positions with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where he worked as the general manager of Ritz-Carltons in Dubai, Philadelphia and Atlanta.
