Island Destinations Unveils Travelers Collection 2008

Island Destinations recently announced its Travelers Collection 2008, a collection of more than 100 exclusive hotels and resorts from Grand Cayman to the Seychelles that  includes destinations and properties new to the portfolio.

Accommodations in new hotspots like the Seychelles, Puerto Rico and Grand Cayman make their debut in this year’s collection, which features 111 five-star properties on as many pages in a glossy brochure. On October 25, at The St. Regis New York, the new brochure was unveiled at an invitation-only event to more than 200 high-end travel agents catering to a discerning clientele.

The exotic Seychelles arrive in this year’s brochure ready to redefine luxury with Frégate Island Private and North Island, both exclusive and secluded island properties. “As always, we deal only with agents and are committed to providing the unequaled level of service and expertise they have come to expect from Island Destinations,” said Maurice Bonham-Carter, president of Island Destinations.

A highlight of the new hotels and resorts showcased in the Travelers Collection 2008 are: Frégate Island Private, Seychelles; Conrad Maldives Rangali Island; Likuliku Lagoon Resort, Fiji; Rosewood Mayakoba, Mexico; Tortuga Bay, Dominican Republic; Cotton House, Grenadines; Mustique; Royal Plantation, Jamaica; and Discovery at Marigot Bay, St. Lucia.
