Mexico-based hospitality management group Islander Collection plans to follow up a strong year of growth with further expansion in 2008.
Since its founding in October 2006, Islander Collection has acquired Cozumel’s largest resort complex, introduced the island’s first Wyndham-branded property, developed Cozumel’s first adults-only hotel and taken over five archaeological resorts on Mexico’s mainland.
According to executives, Islander Collection is poised to acquire and manage additional resort properties throughout Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean.
