Kor Announces Second Riviera Maya Project

Kor Hotel Group has announced a second project on the Mayan Riviera with the creation of The Tides Playa del Carmen. Ground-up construction of the oceanfront residential property is scheduled to commence fall 2006 and set for completion spring 2008. The site will stand as a sister property to the Viceroy Riviera Maya Resort & Residences, being built within the nearby, exclusive Mayakoba Resort and also set for completion in 2008. Located on beachfront property within Playa del Carmen, The Tides will house 190 luxury resort residencies, available as studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom or three-bedroom units. Ninety percent will offer unobstructed ocean views. The resort will also offer a pool with bar-lounge, a private Beach Club with restaurant and a 10,000 square-foot spa and fitness center appointed with roof-top treatment rooms. An intimate meeting space will be available for small-scale business functions. For more information visit [www.tidesplayadelcarmen.com].
