The Kor Hotel Group has officially changed its name to the Viceroy Hotel Group in an effort to capitalize on the growth and recognition of the company’s best known brand. Viceroys’s 2009 was off the charts. November marks the opening of Viceroy Anguilla, which Travel Agent named as one of our hot new hotels for our October 12 cover story.
In fact, Anguilla was just one of three new Viceroys. The other two are in Miami and Snowmass. Viceroy Hotel Group will function as an umbrella company for the sister hotel brands that formerly fell under Kor, Viceroy Hotels & Resorts, The Tides and Urban Retreats. With the new name change, we expect Kor Hotel Group’s website to change.
