La Costa Resort and Spa Revamps Guest Rooms and Suites

La Costa Resort and SpaIn the foothills of Carlsbad, CA, just north of San Diego, La Costa Resort and Spa has completed renovation on its newly redesigned guest rooms and suites. The new design by ForrestPerkins, represents the new La Costa Look, according to the hotel, which is part of owner's master plan renovation to be incorporated throughout the resort.

Following the infusion of $150 million by KSL Resorts, which bought the property in 2011, La Costa's new guest rooms now feature oversize soaking tubs, separate showers, La Costa Coco Manga spa amenities and optional private patios. Other new features include outlets adjacent to the beds and desks for cell phones or laptops, reading lights at the beds and two desk chairs in most rooms for easier in-room dining.

On-site, the resort features a 43,000 square-foot spa, 611 guest rrooms and suites and facilities, including a Clubhouse with a fitness center, two championship golf courses and two acclaimed restaurants, Legends Bistro and BlueFire Grill--all of which are linked by walkways

Other KSL properties throughout the U.S. include the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego; Vail Mountain Lodge & Spa in Vail, CO; and Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, TX.
