Nine months after its official opening, Live Aqua Urban Resort San Miguel de Allende is now introducing several property updates including two new dining venues, the Feel Urban Spa and a new hot air balloon excursion.

The Feel Urban Spa has 10 massage rooms, a steam room and a relaxation pool, where guests can design their own ritual using traditional healing and other methods. Treatments include full-body massages, hydrotherapy and other options, along with a jacuzzi and swiss shower.

The two new dining venues include the Spice Market San Miguel de Allende, a pan-Asian restaurant, as well as Mario Canario, the resort's pool bar. Mario Canario is also present in Acapulco and has an updated dining menu overseen by Chef Eduardo Palazuelos that offers light cuisine from grilled octopus to squid to ceviches and more.

Additionally, guests can now embark on a journey through San Miguel de Allende's skies with the hot air balloon excursion, offered exclusively at the resort. The voyage begins on the hotel's outdoor terrace, where up to four people take off on a 40-minute ride that overlooks the colonial town. The starting rates for this excursion are $700 and can be booked directly with the hotel's concierge.

Live Aqua Urban Resort San Miguel de Allende is the newest addition to La Coleccion Resorts 15-property collection in Mexico. The hotel has 153 guestrooms and meeting spaces that fit up to 900 people, ideal for meetings, conventions and weddings. It's also home to Zibu, a venue that offers a modern take on Mexican cuisine.
