Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta and Residences is scheduled to debut 2011, part of a planned 53-story, mixed-use development to be located on "Midtown Mile," a burgeoning area in the heart of the Arts district. The design will feature a soaring glass facade offering great views of Piedmont Park along with other surrounding areas.
The hotel plans to feature 198 guest rooms, including 35 suites, which will evoke a very Southern charm and sensibility, mixed with the Orient art and refined interiors. All rooms will feature state-of-the-art technology, a Mandarin hallmark.
Spa at Mandarin Oriental is also being planned, which will feature a range of holistic wellness, beauty and massage treatments and other signature spa programs. Cuisine and entertainment will be spread over four dining and cocktail venues.
Top floors will be devoted to 71 residences, where owners will have access to all the services and amenities offered by the hotel.
