Marriott Promoting SpringHill Brand

Marriott International is giving its mid-priced SpringHill Suites brand a makeover, emboldening it with a new stylish look, which it unveiled at the recent American Lodging Investment Summit in Los Angeles. The nine-year-old brand already has 155 hotels opened in North America with over 140 more in the developmental pipeline. The new design features airier public spaces with improved lighting and moveable "softwalls" that create distinctive environments throughout the day. Other features include expanded fitness areas and rooms with 32-inch LCD flat-screen TVs. SpringHill bathrooms will offer guests separate bathroom and shower areas with sliding door access.
