Auberge Resorts Collection has announced a management agreement for Chileno Bay Resorts & Residencies, a new luxury resort set to open December 2016. Formerly known as VieVage Los Cabos, Chileno Bay Resorts & Residencies is located within the 1,200-acre resort community of Chileno Bay, a Discovery Land Company development composed of a private beach club, an 18-hole golf course designed by Tom Fazio, residences and more.
The Resorts & Residencies will comprise 60 guest rooms and 32 two, three and four-bedroom villas featuring outdoor showers, terraces as well as indoor showers and tubs. Interior designs include marble floors, artisan plaster walls and hand-made, colorful tiles. Accommodations will include floor-to-ceiling windows and doors that open to private terraces, private pools for ground-floor villas and Jacuzzis for upper-level villas. All villas are equipped with indoor and outdoor kitchens.
The resort and residencies will include three restaurants, one serving local, freshly caught seafood, raw bar and interactive ceviche bar. A beachside taco bar will offer specialty tequilas and a poolside grill will serve lighter, lunch foods. A full service spa will include 10 treatment rooms, a couples retreat room, a purification garden, sauna and reflexology pool.
Next to Chileno Beach guests will find a waterfront “H20 cave” where they can participate in water activities such as snorkeling, diving and stand up paddle boarding. The resort’s activity center houses a gym, movement studio, a kid’s club, private theater and the Chileno Lounge, open to guests throughout the day as a place to relax. Also in the activities center will be an artisanal market for grab-and-go food options.
Chileno Bay Resort & Residences will also have over 12,000 square feet of meetings and special events space, including a 7,800-square-foot Citrus and Herb Event Garden.
Guests of Chileno Bay Resort & Residences can take advantage of the introductory travel specials including a “Third Night Free” offer when guests book two nights in a guest room or villa. Rates at start at $675 per night.
