The Leading Hotels of the World announced Wednesday the addition of five new members to its collection.
And here they are:
Germany's Kameha Grand Bonn
This 253-room hotel is located on the banks of the Rhine. It offers the Kameha Spa and Powerhouse Fitness center, which includes a heated rooftop pool, sauna, steam bath, massages and beauty treatments. The hotel also has a wide selection of dining options, including 6 restaurants and bars which serve everything from light, casual meals to sushi to cocktails. Business travelers will be happy to know that it has meeting and conference facilities which can accommodate up to 1,500 people.
Rocco Forte Verdura Golf and Spa Resort
This hotel, located on the coast of Sicily, has 153 guest rooms, which have private balconies or terraces overlooking the ocean. The hotel's 50 suites have outdoor courtyard spaces. Guests can choose from its seven bars and restaurants after a day at the private beach, tennis center or one of its two 18-hole golf courses.
The Cheateau Star River
Located in the Pearl River area of Guangzhou China, this 205-room, 111-suite hotel is minutes from the cultural heart of the city. The hotel has meeting space for up to 950 people, fitness center, spa, nightclub and a variety of restaurants serving food from traditional Cantonese cuisine to French delicacies.
Trump SoHo New York
Slated to open in early 2010, this hotel will be located in New York's shopping-friendly and trendy SoHo neighborhood. It will rise 46 stories with 245 rooms and 146 suites, offering views of the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and Hudson River. It also will include a restaurant, Quattro, a spa and 12,000 square feet of meeting space.
Wolgan Valley
This Australian hotel is located in the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. It features individual suites with private decks and swimming pools as well as separate living and sleeping areas with double-sided fireplaces. The hotel offers guided walks, four-wheel drive safaris, horseback riding and other cultural excursions. There is also a spa and a two restaurants.
