The Peninsula New York has recently unveiled a 35,000-square-foot, three-story Asian-inspired Peninsula Spa by ESPA, which opened January 15. The spa has 12 treatment rooms, thermal suites, yoga studio, fitness center and Asian tea lounge. The thermal suites each feature an ice fountain, against a backdrop of 24-karat gold mosaic by Bisazza. Also of note, the spa includes a glass-enclosed swimming pool with views of Midtown. There is also a Private Spa Suite, which has a steam shower and whirlpool bath as well as views of the city.
