Oasis Expands Caribbean Presence with New Dominican Republic Properties

Travel Agent was on site at an event hosted by Oasis Hotels & Resorts Tuesday, in which the company unveiled new properties in Punta Cana, Bayahibe/La Romana, Boca Chica and Puerto Plata. The announcement was made by Enrique Klein, vice president of sales and marketing for TravAmerica, which represents the Oasis and Grand Oasis properties. Oasis Hotels & Resorts also invested $90 million into seven properties in Cancun and the Riviera Maya, Mexico. One of the upgraded properties includes Oasis Viva Beach. The money was used to upgrade facilities at each of the Oasis and Grand Oasis properties. All of the upgrades are finished. Visit [www.oasishotels.com].
