Ocean Resorts Becomes Ocean Waters Management

Oceans Resorts, which runs a portfolio of 27 hotels and resorts in the Daytona area, announced this week that it had become Ocean Waters management. The company's owner and founder said that the name change comes as the company expands into new areas, such as retail, spas, office and residential development. Its properties include resorts in Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach Shores and Ormond Beach, as well as the web site DaytonaHotels.com. It is also completing a renovation of the $70 million Plaza Resort & Spa, and planning a new 33-story, 336-room resort in Daytona Beach.
