Okura Sets Growth Target

Okura Hotels & Resorts wants to double its roster to 50 properties by 2010, according to Nikkei reports. The upscale brand is most heavily represented in Japan, but its flag also flies in China, Korea, Hawaii, Guam and the Netherlands. It also recently inked an alliance with fellow upscale hotelier Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts.
