The Peninsula Hotels in Asia and North America are once again showing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month throughout October with "Peninsula in Pink."
The group-wide campaign to raise both awareness and funds will offer signature pink-themed promotions including afternoon teas and a specially designed pink ribbon pin. A percentage of the proceeds will go directly to breast cancer-affiliated charities in each destination.
The Peninsula Hotels are using all their resources for "Peninsula in Pink." Each hotel is partnering up with a local breast cancer organization for funds and raising awareness.
While each hotel offers its own collection of pink initiatives, a signature attraction across all hotels will be the "Peninsula in Pink" Afternoon Tea.
Each hotel has created a pink-themed tea for the month of October. A selection of pink colored cakes and pastries will be offered. All donations will be made to each hotel's designated local breast cancer charity for every "Peninsula in Pink" Afternoon Tea sold.
"Peninsula in Pink" starts on arrival and pink ribbon pins are also available for sale in each hotel, with a donation for each pin sold.
Individual hotels are also offering a range of additional fundraising initiatives including specially created pink cocktails, restaurant promotions, parties, riverboats and MINI Clubman cars.
Each Peninsula hotel will also work closely with their local breast cancer organization to participate in breast cancer walks, runs and other activities. A range of additional initiatives including leaflets placed in guest rooms and public areas and seminars planned for female guests and hotel staff will be offered.
