Pink Sands Resort in the Bahamas Names New General Manager

The Bahamas’ Pink Sands resort welcomed Mark Kitchen as its new general manager.  The Australian native is an experienced hotelier with a career spanning more than 18 years. In his new position with Pink Sands, Kitchen will employ his international hospitality background to spearhead improvements to all of the resort’s operations, while also aiming to motivate a successful team environment.

Before joining the Pink Sands team, Kitchen served as general manager for the Karma Group, operating five-star resorts in Bali and Koh Samui, Thailand.  From 2004 to 2007, Kitchen was resort manager for the Namale Resort Spa in Fiji. He previously spent five years running the Vatulele Island Resort in Fiji. Working with Allegro Resorts from 1993 to 1998, Kitchen was stationed in properties throughout Antigua, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and St. Lucia.
