Jack Adler, president and chief operating officer of Loews Hotels, will retire from the company early next year. Adler started his career with Loews Hotels in 1988 as senior vice president of administration and development. He was promoted to several executive positions before assuming his current role in 2000.
Jonathan Tisch, chairman and chief executive officer of Loews Hotels, said, “Jack has made an enormous contribution over his 23 year career with Loews Hotels. He has defined the distinctive style of hospitality, which each of our hotels reflects; every guest is cherished and every employee is valued. Jack drove Loews Hotels’ expansion, transformed our portfolio of properties in addition to defining and focusing our brand. In both good times and bad, the company’s operational performance excelled under Jack’s leadership.”

When I depart next year, I will leave the company in great condition and look forward to remaining active in the industry in new ways.”
Tisch will remain as Chairman of Loews Hotels and Co-Chairman of the Board of Loews Corporation, while Loews Hotels look for a new President and CEO that has a proven track record in growing a quality brand. Korn Ferry International has been hired to identify candidates.
