The new Planet Hollywood resort brand is coming to Cancun later this year, and officials have released new details on what travelers can expect from the property.
Planet Hollywood Beach Resort Cancun will be the second and largest all-inclusive resort to open under the Planet Hollywood brand, following the opening of Planet Hollywood Costa Rica in late 2018. Set on the rapidly developing Costa Mujeres north of Cancun’s Hotel Zone, the new build resort will have 1,027 rooms and 16 restaurants, including an outpost of Guy Fieri’s Burger Joint.
The resort will also incorporate the brand’s signature Hollywood memorabilia, as well as a number of curated entertainment experiences. Other amenities on property include nine bars, four pools, a lazy river, a trampoline park, a kids/teens club and a mini golf course. It will also have a wellness program, called PHIT, based on trendy Hollywood fitness regimens. The property will also have the Fix Juice Bar, service refreshments such as freshly prepared watermelon cucumber juice, as well as the PH Spa & Beauty Bar, which will use Eminence Organics Skin Care products.
The new Planet Hollywood resort brand was developed via a partnership with Sunwing Travel Group. In addition to building and operating the brand’s new resorts, Sunwing also offers management services and franchise opportunities to prospective Planet Hollywood Hotels and Resorts worldwide.
