The CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa in Mexico announced Thursday the beginning of a $10.7 million renovation scheduled for completion by October 31. The portion that has already begun is the renovation of the resort’s guestrooms and suites. The project also calls for enhancements to the banquet rooms, and the resort’s main restaurant, La Estancia. The $1 million renovation of the resort’s banquet and meeting facilities will take place in July and will include new carpet, woodwork and upholstery, as well as installation of new lighting and a new audio system. The upgrade and expansion of La Estancia is scheduled to start on August 1. We were told the resort will not be closed during the renovation. Visit www.puertovallartamarriott.com.
