Radisson Heads South to Baton Rouge

South-bound travelers will soon have another accommodation option in Louisiana: Radisson Hotels & Resorts today announced its new property in Baton Rouge.

The 132-room hotel, located on Acadian Thruway and formerly known as the Red Lion Hotel, recently underwent an $8.5 million renovation project, including all guest rooms, the pool, courtyard, building exterior and restaurants as part of Radisson's repositioning plan. The property will officially open on July 1.

All rooms feature Sleep Number beds, goose down duvets and high definition televisions. The hotel also offers more than 5,000 square feet of meeting space and two restaurants, the Tiger Pub Lounge and Bistro 225.
