Renovated Coral Towers to Debut at Atlantis, Paradise Island This July

Atlantis, Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas has announced it will unveil the complete renovation of its Coral Towers in July and a fully transformed Marina Village in the fall.

The new Lobby Lounge will be designed in corals, teals, with woven chairs clustered to engage conversation. The centerpiece of the lobby is the new Soda Fountain, serving milkshakes, espresso and coffee drinks, cocktails, patisserie and gelato. Open throughout the day and evening, the Soda Fountain will offer the option to gather to play a game, share a story or taste new signature items.

Room categories will include king and double queen beds to accommodate families and have a variety of views, including terrace, garden and ocean. Guest bathrooms will have new flooring, vanity accents and modern showers and bathtubs. The corridors will be draped in warm-toned carpeting and ocean-inspired lighting and artwork.

Exclusive amenities will include pint-sized robes and an in-room refrigerator with the ability to pre-purchase snacks.

The new “poolscape" will aim to provide a relaxing environment with private cabanas, family-friendly water activities and a swim-up popsicle bar serving locally-made, preservative-free frozen treats prepared daily with Bahamian fruit.

Atlantis also recently introduced a new Family Trip Planner exclusive to guests of the Coral Towers. The complimentary service is designed to offer customizable package design that includes poolside cabana rental, family swims at Dolphin Cay, day and evening kid activities at Atlantis Kids Adventures, dining reservations and food allergy requests.

The Family Trip Planners will also assist families in choosing purposeful activities to connect them to local Bahamian culture and ecology, opportunities to explore the coral reefs and marine environments and to spend time together, the resort said. Babysitting services are also available on-property. Parents can be assured that each babysitter at Atlantis is CPR certified, has childcare qualifications and has received a thorough background and security check.

The new Marina Village will curate the best of the Bahamas – a celebration of the culture, taste and spirit of the country. Foodies, guests and locals can partake in regional experiences and interactions, savoring local flavors, shopping from island artisans during weekend markets and seasonal festivals featuring performances by Bahamian musicians. In the fall, Marina Village will open and feature local favorites such as an authentic fish fry; the Bahamas’ best conch salad and a craft beer from a local brewery served in a tasting hall.
