The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage to Open Winter 2007

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. will open The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage in early winter 2007. The $500 million property will feature 244 resort rooms and suites, 154 residences, restaurants, a 25,000-square-foot spa and nearly 20,000 square feet of meeting space. The resort sits on a 650-foot bluff overlooking Palm Springs, the Coachella Valley and San Jacinto Mountain range, rising above 10,000 feet. All guest rooms feature stone flooring, deep soaking tubs, flat-screen TVs, separate walk-in showers and a balcony or private veranda. Many rooms have outdoor private fire pits.
