Riu Paradise Island to Close in August for Renovations


Riu Paradise Island, located in the Bahamas and soon to be renamed Riu Palace Paradise Islandwill close for renovations on August 20 and will reopen on November 26. As Riu Palace Paradise Island, the resort will offer 379 rooms, 24-hour room service, nightly turndown service, new themed restaurants and more. As part of the $25 million remake, all of the rooms will be completely refurbished and all will be either Junior Suites or Suites. All rooms will feature plasma TVs and hydro-massage tubs. The resort will also add a new fusion restaurant Krystal, featuring fusion cuisine in a contemporary dining room and a new sports bar.
