Rocco Forte Promises Quicker Commission Payment

The Rocco Forte Collection has made an unprecedented pledge to pay off all travel agent commissions within 20 days after a client checks out of one of its hotels.

The news is being received warmly by industry agents. "In an industry where commissions are unregulated, this is an unprecedented move which proves that The Rocco Forte Collection is the market-leader," said Priscilla Alexander, president of Protravel International. "A promise of this sort gives us the utmost confidence to book with them."

This guarantee also applies on any cancellation fees received and on extended stays, regardless of whether the extension is booked by the ticketing agent.

"After piloting this scheme at two of our hotels, we’re delighted to be able to announce its launch across the whole collection," said Rocco Forte Director of Sales Mark Allvey. "As travel management consultants are so vital to our business, we hope that it will make a real difference to those we currently work with and that it will encourage more to start booking with us."
