RockResorts announced the appointment of Scott Ward as area sales manager overseeing group, wedding and leisure sales for the RockResorts and Legendary Lodging warm weather collection, resorts in the Caribbean, Latin America and the U.S.
Specifically, the properties include Alma del Pacifico Hotel in Costa Rica; Half Moon, A RockResort in Rose Hall, Jamaica; Balcones del Atlántico, A RockResort in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic; Tempo Miami, A RockResort in Miami, Florida and The Landings St. Lucia, A RockResort in Rodney Bay, St. Lucia.
Ward brings to the team more than 10 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry. Specifically, Ward joins RockResorts after four years of working as director of sales and marketing for Scrub Island Resort Marina and Spa in the British Virgin Islands.
In this position, he secured more than $2.9 million in pre-opening incentive sales and pre-booked 2,800 room nights in advance of the resort opening using Virtuoso, Signature and Ensemble agents.
Prior to that, Ward served as vice president of sales and marketing for Angelus Resort and Spa in St Kitts, West Indies. During his tenure, he managed all client sales and service teams and sold more than $30 million in real estate.
