Sandals Offers Full Refund in Event of Layoff

Unique Vacations Inc. announced the "Sandals Resorts No Worry Guarantee," an added benefit to the company's optional insurance policy, granting guests a full cash refund on their vacation should they be involuntarily terminated from their jobs. Unique Vacations Inc. is the worldwide representative of Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts, The Royal Plantation Collection, and Grand Pineapple Beach Resorts.

Effective as of now, when guests purchase the Trip Mate Travel Protection Plan ($99 per adult; $79 per child), they will now have expanded coverage including the Sandals Resorts No Worry Guarantee, offering protection on travel to all four brands' properties in Jamaica, St. Lucia, Antigua, the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos.

The Sandals Resorts No Worry Guarantee provides a full cash refund on the land portion of guests' vacations if they are laid off from their jobs 30 days following their effective date of coverage. Eligible travelers must have been continuously employed with the same employer for two years prior to involuntary termination. Travelers can purchase the Trip Mate Travel Protection Plan, including the Sandals Resorts No Worry Guarantee, Cancel for Any Reason Waiver, and also protects against trip interruption and other unexpected events after departure, at the time of booking.
