Shangri-La has marked a milestone, opening its 50th upscale hotel, the 704-room Shangri-La Hotel Guangzhou. The hotel is adjacent to the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre. At 36 floors, it is the city's tallest hotel. The hotel also includes a 108-room, six-floor Horizon Club, complete with an executive lounge and club-level amenities.
