The Sheraton Buganvilias Announces Multimillion-Dollar Renovation

The Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center in Puerto Vallarta, Mexicohas announced that it is in the process of undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation, equivalent to over 200 million pesos.

The transformation of the hotel, located on Las Glorias beach, includes improvements to all of its 473 guest rooms, the consumer centers, public area and the Maiave Village, Cabañas Spa. The spa will host three separate locations for services, which include Espigon, Maiave Village and the Maiave Spa. There will also be three cabins – surrounded by gardens – on one side of the hotel pool where visitors can also enjoy the spa experience. Outside two of these cabins are two outdoor Jacuzzis, one of which will be made accessible for those with special needs.

There are also four bars and six different restaurants, with the Gaviotas restaurant being included in the renovation as well. The Embarcadero Gastro Bar is one of the latest additions to the hotel, offering guests entertainment, over 50 premium tequila or mescal labels, an exclusive wine selection, along with crafted beers.

In a written release, Executive Chef Santiago Pérez said that renovation is “a great step forward” in terms of offering guests the highest quality of service. He said that with the new facilities on the hotel campus, the Sheraton Buganvilias “will remain the favorite of the Pacific coast.”

The exclusive Sheraton Club rooms are also new to the Sheraton Buganvilias, which will be located on the top three floors of the hotel. Here, guests can enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean while also receiving complimentary butler service.

The Sheraton Buganvilias, in the release, said that the new design offers “a stylish, relaxing escape for leisure travelers.” The beaches, gastronomy and services, it said, will also rank the hotel “as one of the best options for staying in Puerto Vallarta.”
